Associazione Alzheimer Riese is an based in Italy that help people with alzeimer disease, specially for old people. The Association, which operates in the territory ULSS No. 8, was willed and created by family members of people with dementia and a group of people sensitive to the problem. It was legally established in September 1999 with the aim of helping the sick and their families.The purpose of the Association are numerous:
- operate in the field of assistance and the enhancement of the person carrying out activities of social assistance and support of Alzheimer's patients and their families, becoming a point of liaison and coordination;
inform and sensitize the public and all professionals involved in dementia;
be a stimulus to search for new solutions in the field of prevention, care and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias;
protect the rights of the patient and family to get a better policy and better regulation;
fostering the establishment of pilot centers for the diagnosis, care and social and health education specialist.
It is important to remember that the Association:
not only takes care of family members and people with Alzheimer's disease patients but also other serious forms of dementia;
carries out its work in collaboration with institutions at various levels: Local Unit Member Health, Municipalities, Province, Region;
coordinates with other associations to be present in Alzheimer's Institutional organs in this regard was born in 2009, the Solidarity Federation Veneta Alzheimer headquartered in Padua at the "Centre Mother Teresa of Calcutta". Our Association has strongly supported and it holds the presidency.
The Alzheimer's Association is duly registered with the Register of Volunteers of the Veneto Region.
The website was developed by Globodyne Ltd and was launched in 2010, but after some work done since then we decided to publish it on our website to make our audience know learn about such a great organization where you can help them to continue their work by helping with a donation.
